The Bungee Blog

On November 7 2007, the Pragmatic Bookshelf released Prototype and script.aculo.us, the first comprehensive book on these two famous JavaScript libraries, collectively known as the Rails Spinoffs. Due to its cover, the book was quickly dubbed The Bungee Book.

These libraries evolve at a fast clip. Because the book, even in electronic form, cannot keep up with them on a permanent basis, this blog provides readers with updates on the new features, along with more material and discussions. When a new edition of the book goes out, it catches up. In the meantime, readers have a companion resource to stay on the top of things.
